Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. commissioned the beer masters over at Sound Brewery in Polusbo, Washington to create three limited release, special edition brews to celebrate the commercial success of Mortal Kombat X/XL (PS4, Xbox One and PC). This is the second of a three-part series review.

If you were a kid in the early 1990s, you will most likely recognize the blue-garbed ninja Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. He is, after all, only the second-most ubiquitous character in the game next to Scorpion (aside from them being bitter “mortal” enemies…pun intended). Anyone born in the last 20 years is definitely familiar with this widely recognized and wildly popular video game character of the 20th century–Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series. If you have played the game, then you know that he is as noble as he is brutal in his fighting style, and this Imperial Stout by Sound Brewery does a stellar job of capturing that essence.
